TUITION WAIVERS

EACH SEMESTER DAC OFFERS STUDENTS TUITION WAIVERS. WE NEVER TURN SOMEONE AWAY DUE TO FINANCES. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO APPLY FOR A TUITION WAIVER FOR YOU OR YOUR CHILD(REN) PLEASE FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW. FORMS ARE DUE ONE WEEK PRIOR TO EACH SEMESTER.

ALL TUITION WAIVER STUDENTS NEED TO PAY THE $25 REGISTRATION FEE

Requirements/Conditions for Eligibility:
-Must be in Musical Theater Program or take 3+ Dance Classes a week
-Must demonstrate financial need for Tuition Waiver
-Must agree to the Terms/Conditions of the Waiver
-Must attend classes regularly.
-Must fill out application one week prior to the beginning of each semester.**
-Each student and/or parent must participate in a Show Committee (Costumes, Tickets, Publicity, etc.) for their program**

Failure to meet these conditions will result in cancellation of waiver.
**These conditions may be waived under special circumstance.

Child must write a letter asking for the scholarship and why they feel they may need or want the scholarship. Parent must also write a letter. We will look at all letters received and make a decision. You will be informed of decision by email.
Once you get qualified for the program you must agree to the conditions of the program to stay eligible.

Conditions of scholarship program:

Ballet class is an absolute must.
Must sign up for one time a week to clean studio. Including bathrooms sweep dance floors/mop and mirrors cleaned.

Must sign up quarterly to head a fundraiser for the studio, where all money goes to help the studio and help keep the scholarship program available.

Fundraisers will be lead by you and must be signed off and approved by Malika Warren and Jamie Tyler.
Fundraisers can be: bake sells, car washes, dixie direct cards, papa murphy cards, Hungry Howies, starving student cards etc. You will be responsible for contacting, setting up and being in charge of said fundraiser.
Must contact local businesses to get donations and/ or sponsorship for our program.
Must help at year end show with organization. Help with what is needed.

Waivers Available: (Please state which one you are applying for in application)

-Dance (Individual) Tuition Waiver:
Must take a minimum of 3 dance classes a week. This will waive full tuition for the semester for one student.

-Dance (Family) Half Waiver:
For families with 2+ children. Each child must take a minimum of 3 classes a week. (This requirement does not apply to children under 7). This will waive half of the tuition for the semester.

-Dance (Family) Tuition Waiver:
For families with 2+ children. Each child must take a minimum of 3 classes a week. (This does requirement does not apply to children under 7). This will waive full tuition for the semester.

-Musical Theater (Individual) Tuition Waiver:
Must be in Musical Theater Program. Tuesday's 5:30-7pm This will waive full tuition for the semester.

-Musical Theater (Family) Half Waiver:
For families with 2+ children. This will waive half of the tuition for the semester.

-Musical Theater (Family) Tuition Waiver:
For families with 2+ children. This will waive full tuition for the semester.
